- NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION will be held on July 20, 2009, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., in the Counselors' Office. A parent or court appointed legal guardian must enroll new students. You must provide the following information:
- 2 Poofs of Residency (current utility bill, mortgage, lease)
If the residence is not in the parent/guardian's name, then the home owner must provide a notorized affidavit of residency form along with the two proofs of residency. The parent/guardian must also provide driver's license and voter registration with the same address before the student can be enrolled. Affidavit may be picked up in the Counselors' Office.
- Immunization (MS Compliance Form)
- Birth Certificate with certificate number
- Social Security Card
- Last Report Card / Transcript showing credits / Withdrawal Slip
- 2009-2019 Student Schedule Pickup
You must provide two current utility bills to prove residency.

- Students, are you moving at the end of this school year? If so, please tell your parent to come the counselor's office and withdraw you from Oak Grove High School BEFORE YOU MOVE. This will help as you move to a new school.
- Back Packs for Iraq! Attention parents: local boy scouts and Camp Shelby will be collecting back packs to take to Iraq in June. Have your child leave their empty used back pack at the school on the last day of school and we'll take care of the rest.
- UPCOMING FALL EVENT: The OGHS College & Career Fair 2009-2010 will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009, 6:00-8:00 p.m., in the OGHS Cafeteria. All seniors, juniors, and parents are welcome!

- Oak Grove Warrior Cookbooks are now available at the front office for $25. They can also be purchased at Lovies, Gourmet & More, Bellevue Florist, Oodles, Oak Grove Pharmacy, and Olympic Warrior.
- Oak Grove Warrior black stadium blankets can be purchased by contacting Teresa Smith at 601.543.2372.
- Oak Grove Warrior car tags are always available at the Tax Collector's office for only $31.00.
- All students and parents are encouraged to set up a portfolio through "Choices Planner." Choices is a FREE career assessment available anywhere there is Internet access! Choices includes an Interest Profiler, which will help you discover your personality type and relate it to careers. It also has a Work Values Sorter as well Career Finder, School Finder, and Scholarship Finder. Click here for instructions to start the Choices Planner Online.
- FREE ACT Exam Practice Tests! All students are encouraged to practice for the ACT at www.actexampracticetests.com.
- The OGHS Library would like you to join Friends of the Library at Oak Grove High School! We have many goals to help our library become a 21st Century Library Media Center and you can be a part of making that happen. If you are interested in joining Friends of the Library, please contact Mrs. Becky Sanders at ext. 6043.
- Check your child's grades, attendance, and discipline anytime on Active Parent. Set up an account at http://mslamar.activeparent.net. You must present identification in the school counselor's office to activate your account.
